Scoring Rubric for Practical Biomechanics exams: A Systematic Approach for Objectifying the Subjectivity in the Field

Tarek M. El-gohary.

Abstract
There is escalating need to objectify what has been subjective and is being ambiguous within the rehabilitation field. Too many concerns have been raised among students and academics regarding the objectivity of the practical exams. The expert in the field Dr. El-gohary was invited to create a scoring rubric that amends the loophole within the practical exams. The expert had surveyed different reliable sources in addition to consulting many outstanding experts and created a new, self- explanatory scoring rubric that has satisfied the psychometric measures and gained a significant popularity among users. Professionals and academics were encouraged to share their talent and experience in order to have evidence- based ways of judging the students’ performance in practical exams within the field of physical therapy and rehabilitation.
