The Value of Platelet Indices in Henoch- Schonlein Purpura

Henoch-Schönlein purpura (HSP) is the most common vasculitis of childhood and usually associated with thrombocytosis. Platelet indices; mean platelet volume (MPV) and platelet distribution width (PDW); have recently been described as markers of platelet activation and function. The aim of this retrospective study is to investigate the value of platelet indices in HSP.
