The Reflection of Functional Regulations to the Satisfaction of Disabled Patients “Erciyes Medical Faculty Example”

Abstract
Objective: This study was made to evaluate the reflection to the satisfaction of attitude, knowledge and opinions of disabled patients who appealed to ERU Practice and Research Center Polyclinics with functional regulations which offer easier accession to healt services for disabled patients. Method: This sectional type of study was carried out within the period of March, April and May 2014. A survey was implemented to the disabled patients with the technic of face to face interview.The survey consisted of 27 questions form with descriptive informations. Percentage distribution, chi-square and Friedman tests were applied for the statistical analysis. Findings: 214 people (%66.4 male, 33.6 female) joined to the survey for disabled patients. %78.5 of patients were married, %18.2 single and %3.3 unspecified. The average age of the patients was 37.69±15.711. There were 115 people, mostly between the age of 26-45, in the study. In case of the evaluation of education; %41.1 people were in the group of elementary school. It was defined that %53.7 of disapled people were employee. %81.9 of the patients who joined to study was from Kayseri, %87. 9 of them had came to the hospital before. When they were evaluated in the term of their handicaps; %50.0 of them chronic, %44.9 orthopedic, %2.8 visual, %1.9 audio and %0.5 of them were mental disabled patients.
