Social psychiatry practices in Turkey from yesterday to today

Abstract
Turks have had the social psychiatric practices in very old years. Music therapy, hydrotherapy, occupational therapy, and rehabilitation approaches in Turks are social psychiatry practices. In this article, the social psychiatry practices in the last sixty years in Turkey have been reviewed in various headings such as mental health dispensaries, Psychiatric Crisis Center, association studies, daytime hospitals, epidemiological studies, studies after earthquake, community mental health center, institutional studies, individual studies.

Dünden bugüne Türkiye’de sosyal psikiyatri uygulamaları

Özet
Türklerde sosyal psikiyatri uygulamaları çok eski yıllara dayanmaktadır. Türklerdeki müzik tedavisi, su tedavisi, uğraşı tedavisi gibi tedavi ve uyumlandırma yaklaşımları sosyal psikiyatri uygulamalarıdır. Bu yazıda Türkiye’de son 60 yıldaki sosyal psikiyatri uygulamaları çeşitli başlıklarda gözden geçirilmiştir: Ruh sağlığı dispanserleri, Psikiyatrik Kriz Merkezi, dernek çalışmaları, gündüz hastaneleri, epidemiyolojik çalışmalar, deprem sonrası çalışmalar, toplum ruh sağlığı merkezleri, kurumsal çalışmalar, bireysel çalışmalar.
