Muzaffer Durmuş, Alparslan Bayram Çarlı, Uğur Karapınar, İlyas Keskin.

Abstract
Due to the difficulty in accessing modern medical methods, traditional medical methods are more common among the people in rural area. Another reason for that is the high cost of modern methods. Thus, we encounter the use of traditional methods because it is more accessible and cheaper, although there is no scientific validity. In this study, we report a case that has tomato application which is not very common-for wound healing and we reviewed the literature for home remedies. As a result, some visual and educational tools may be used for patient education. We believe that patients will receive an effective medical service with good quality after this is accomplished.
