Usage of "Download of Psychiatry" by Muslim countries

Background: “Download of Psychiatry” is an open access web-based textbook of psychiatry which is written for medical students, trainee psychiatrists and other interested mental health professionals. It was first published 4.5 years ago.
Aim: To examine the usage of “Download of Psychiatry” in Muslim countries.
Method: A hit is recorded when a chapter is opened. The first 4 years were examined. The total number of hits for each country, and a comparative rate was determined by dividing the total numbers by the number of millions of people in each country.
Results: While the total number of hits was small, the hits/million several Muslim countries were greater than some English speaking areas. Hits/million were frequently higher than many non-Muslim non-English speaking countries.
Conclusion: “Download of Psychiatry” is well utilized in Muslim countries.
