Reports of increasing poor livestock production performance associated with hemoparasitism especially in cattle premised this hematological survey. This was conducted in order to establish the commonly encountered hemoparasites in slaughtered trade cattle in Jos abattoir between February-July 2011. Three hundred and twelve (312) blood samples were collected and analyzed at the Central Diagnostic Department and Parasitology laboratory, National Veterinary Research Institute Vom.
